كنيسة سيّدة التلّة العجائبيّة - دير القمربُنِيَتْ كنيسة سيِّدةِ التلَّة على أَنقاضِ هَيْكَلٍ وَثَنِيٍّ أُقيمَ لِعِبادَةِ الإلَهْ القَمَرْ، تَحَوَّلَ إلى مَعْبَدٍ مسيحيٍّ عَلى يَدِ النَاسك إبراهيم القورشيّ. رمّمها البيزنطيّين والفرسان التيتونيّين. خُرِّبَت الكنيسة بعد رحيل الصليبيّين. مع بِدايَةِ القَرْنِ السّادِسَ عَشَرَ، وجَدَ الأهالي حجر العتبة من الكنيسة الأصليّة وسمّوها سيّدة التلّة. كان ذلك سنة ١٥١٦. شهدت الكنيسة على تاريخ دير القمر العريق، ومذابح سنة ١٨٦٠ حيث خَلَّصت القدّيسة رفقا طفلًا من الموت بشكل عجائبيّ إذ خبّأته في ثوبها. هي كنيسة محجّ لكلّ أبناء المنطقة. معروفة بعجائبها الكثيرة وفضلها. تحوي الكنيسة على عدد كبير من اللّوحات والآثار الكنسيّة.The Church of Our Lady Of Talleh - Deir el QamarThe church was originally a pagan temple for a moon deity, then converted into a church by the hermit Abraham of Cyr. It was restored by the Byzantines and the Teutonian knights. The church fell into despair after the Crusaders left, up until the sixteenth century, when local christians found the historical frontal stone and named their church Our Lady of the Hilll, it was consacrated in 1516. The church is a witness on the long history of Deir el Qamar and the massacres of 1860 when St Rafqa shielded a boy miraculously with her habit. The church is a pilgrimage site known for miraculous healings. It also contains a lot of paintings and church furnishings.انطوش ولوحات كنيسة سيّدة التلّة - دير القمر.سنة ١٧٥٠، وهبت الستّ أمّون، والدة الأمير يوسف المعنيّ للرهبانيّة الحلبيّة اللبنانيّة، أربعة أقبية والدكاكين الموجودة فوقها والتي تقع الى جانب الكنيسة، من اجل تعليم الأولاد وفائدة الشعب الروحيّة. فأقامت الرهبانيّة أوّل مدرسة ديموقراطيّة في الشرق حيث كان يتعلّم مجّانًا أولاد الأمراء الى جانب أولاد الفلّاحين، من دروز ومسيحييّن، من بنين وبنات، على إثر قرار المجمع اللبنانيّ سنة ١٧٣٦. سنة ١٩٠١، أُعيد بناء الأنطوش. سنة ١٩٣٧، جرى أوّل إحتفال رسميّ بمناسبة عيد سيّدة التلّة في الأحد الاوّل من شهر آب، وذلك بمنشور صادر عن راعي الابرشيّة آنذاك المطران أوغسطين البستاني.The Presbytery and the paintings of Our Lady of Talleh - Deir el KamarIn 1750 Lady Amoun of house Maan, mother of Prince Yousef, gave the Alepine Maronite Order four crypts and some commercial stores near the church to convert them into a school and provide spiritual assistance for the locals. The new school was the first democratic school in the Levant, teaching for the first time students from all backgrounds: Christians Druze, nobles peasants, boys and girls, in accordance with the precepts of the Lebanese council held in 1736. The presbytery was rebuilt in 1901. In 1937 a new feast day of Our Lady of Talleh was celebrated for the first time on the first Sunday of august.

كنيسة مار يوحنّا الحبيب - جربتا

سنة ١٨٦٥ شيّد الخوري يوحنّا جرجس بصبوص مدرسةً على اسم مار يوحنّا الحبيب في محلّة الضهر معاد، وجعل لها كنيسةً صغيرةً بعقدٍ مُصالب. أُوقفت المدرسة والكنيسة للرهبانيّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة سنة ١٨٩٥ بُغية تحويلها لدير راهباتٍ مُحصّنات. قبلت الرهبانيّة الوقفيّة سنة ١٨٩٧ وصادق عليها البطريرك يوحنّا الحاج. سنة ١٩٠١ رقد الخوري يوحنّا بالربّ ودُفن في كنيسته. رُمّمت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠٠٣ ونُقل إليها مذبح دير مار يوسف القديم وهو من عمل الأخوين بصبوص من راشانا.

The Church of St. John the Apostle - Jrabta

The church was constructed in 1865 to serve as a chapel for St. John's School, which was established by Father Youhanna Gerges Basbous. The school was handed over to the Lebanese Maronite Order in 1895 and was transformed into a nunnery. The donation was accepted by the order in 1897, and the decision was authorized by Patriarch Youhanna el Hajj. In 1901, Father Basbous passed away and was buried in the chapel. The church underwent restoration in 2003, during which the magnificent marble altar of St. Joseph's Monastery, a masterpiece carved by the Basbous brothers, was installed.

دير راهبات العائلة المقدّسة المارونيّات - عبرين

سنة ١٨٩٦ غادرت الأم المؤسِّسة لراهبات العائلة المقدّسة روزالي مع راهباتها من مدرسة بطرس شحادة في جبيل إلى عبرين لتداعي البناء وحاجته للترميم. وشاءت العناية الإلهيّة ان تتدبّر الأموال بيد المطران (البطريرك المكرّم) الياس الحويّك، لشراء بيت ومزرعة واكد الشيخاني في عبرين وتحويلها إلى دير ومدرسة، مع كنيسة ذات زجاجيّات مميّزة، وقبوٍ معقودٍ تحتها، هو مرقد البطريرك الآن. والقبو مزيّن بجداريّات يوسف الحويّك. أصبح دير العائلة المقدّسة الدير الأمّ للجمعيّة وأصبحت الراهبات تُعرفن براهبات عبرين.

The Holy Family’s convent - Ibrin

1896 was a pivotal year for Mother Rosaly the new superior general of the new Maronite congregation of the Holy Family, as the nun moved from Boutros Shehade’s school in Jbeil to the farm estate of Waked el Shikhany in Ibrin. In his diaries Bishop Elias Howayek (later Venerable Patriarch) relates how the money for the purchase was due to the Divine Providence’s intercession. Bishop Howayek transformed with the nuns the estate into a convent with a school and a beautiful church with stained glass windows, and a crypt with Youssef el Howayek’s frescoes (the only Lebanese art deco style paintings). The crypt is also the resting place of Patriarch el Howayek. Since its construction, the convent became the mother house of the Holy Family’s nuns and they are widely known as the Nuns of Ibrin.

كنيسة مار جرجس - القليعة
هي كنيسة البلدة الرعائيّة. بُنيت سنة ١٩٠٠ بسعي الخوري عبدالله لاشين، وكرّسها المطران بطرس البستاني مطران صور وصيدا آنذاك. الكنيسة بازيايكيّة الطراز بثلاث أروقة، والعقد يجتمع بقبّة دائريّة مزيّنة بجداريّة المسيح الفادي محاطًا بالإنجيليّين الأربعة. اللوحة الأساسيّة من عمل داوود القرم. أمّا الكنيسة من الخارج فهي بالحجر المقصوب مزيّنة بلونين من الحجارة.

The church of St George - Qlayaa

The parochial church of the town, the church was built in 1900 with the efforts of Fr. Abdalla Lachin and dedicated by Mgr. Boutros el Boustany archbishop of Tyr and Sidon back then. The church follows a basilical floor plan with three naves, and a circular dome decorated with a fresco of Christ the Redeemer surrounded by the four evangelists. The main painting of St George is by Dawoud el Qorm. The facade of the church is a decorative alteration of two kinds of colored stones.
